Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother, as well as Wayne David Cardellini (a father) and an entrepreneur. Linda is of Italian heritage (her paternal great-grandpa), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda lived in her native San Francisco Bay area, California, the youngest of four children. Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on 5 April 1989) is an English actress from the UK. Her career began in 2010, with the British TV series Just William, in which she studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Cinderella was her first big role after her stint in the role of Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James was then cast as Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. She has also starred in a variety of films, including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018. She also appeared in The Dig 2021, as in the musicals Mamma Mia! We're Going Again (2019) as well as Yesterday (2018). The portrayal she gave of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 won her the Golden Globes and Primetime Emmy Awards.
