Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her roles as the lead character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Alongside her television performances, she has been known for movie roles like Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack was born in a house without any entertainment connection in any way to her family tree, is the daughter of a clinical therapist and the owner of an Ice Cream Shop. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in 1990, she was accepted to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. Her graduation was in the BA program in comparative arts. When she was just 12 when she began her stage career, it started by performing in "Amahl, as well as the Night Visitors" an opera for Christmas. After performing on stage, McCormack landed parts in small-screen as well as large-screen productions. Her versatility is recognized today. She is the mother of three children together with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
